Congratulations!
Congratulations Dr. Jeff Drayer, Assistant Superintendent in the Burlington-Edison School District for receiving the Non-Nurse Administrator of the Year award at the School Nurse Organization of Washington 2017 Fall Conference in Spokane.
During his 15 year tenure as Health Services supervisor, Dr. Drayer has advocated for student health and safety, supporting the need for a robust health services team. Under his leadership, the district has increased school nurse staffing from one full-time school nurse to three full-time school nurses; six health room assistants to nine, has purchased 11 AEDS, and made revisions to the certified teacher evaluation form to be a more appropriate evaluation of a certified school nurse. Congratulations and thank you, Dr. Drayer, for your continued advocacy and support of student health and well-being!
