The NWESD values the voice of each district and seeks equitable representation from our region at our Fellows meetings; it is critical to our work in the region, i.e. increasing student learning and preparation for entrance into college and career, that all districts be represented.

A few weeks ago, on April 20-22, 2017 the NWESD 189 hosted the 2017 AESD Conference in Lynnwood, WA at the Embassy Suites Hotel. The conference theme “Oceans of Change; Waves of Opportunity” resonated nicely with the messages from the keynote speakers and breakout...STEM Educators are finding support to take solar power into their classrooms through a local collaboration with the Apple STEM Network
On January 12th, 8 local middle school teachers from Cashmere, Cascade, Chelan, Entiat, Eastmont, and Quincy schools attended a training to learn about taking solar energy and constructing solar cars into their classrooms through a program called Junior Solar Sprint...What’s Happening on Facebook
