Are you and your school / district interested in learning more about what it takes to modify your school year calendar? Do you want to connect with other district / school leaders who are also on this journey? If so, the 2023 Balanced Calendar Book Study Series is for you!

This February and March, we will bring together school / district teams of administrators, educators, and staff as part of two collaborative learning communities to dive deeper into exploring a balanced school year calendar.

Book Study 1 is designed for “beginning” district teams in the earliest stages of considering modified school year calendars. Book Study 2 is designed for existing OSPI grantees that are more “intermediate” in their exploration and planning processes.

Book Study 1: Summer Versus School: Exploring the Possibilities of the Year-Round School
