PSESD Board of Directors Welcomes Dr. Ashby as Newest Member
Dr. Frank Y. Ashby was appointed to the Puget Sound ESD Board at the March 19, 2014 Board Meeting. Dr. Ashby fills the vacated position of Mr. Charles Staadecker.
Currently, Dr. Ashby is Vice-President of Administrative Services at South Seattle College where he is responsible for planning, directing and supervising all business functions of the College.
In Dr. Ashby’s application he elaborated on his work with K-12 and colleges/universities, especially around the critical transition points between middle school to high school and high school to community college or universities.
This experience is in alignment with Puget Sound ESD’s goal of closing the opportunity gap and he is an excellent fit to move the work of the agency forward. Welcome Dr. Ashby!
